Payment

What payment methods do you accept?

We accept the following major credit / debit cards: Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Maestro, Discover, Diners Club, Unoin Pay.
We also accept payments by PayPal, Shop Pay, Google Pay and Apple Pay.

Can I shop in different currency?

Yes, your currency should automatically be selected based on your location.
All orders are processed in your local currency and are subject to exchange rate fluctation.
To checkout in a different currency, select your currency / region using the drop-down menu in the footer.

Orders

How long does production take?

Every single order is made-to-order to represent ethical and sustainable approach and reduce waste.
So please be prepared to allow extra 3-5 working days for production.

All orders will be dispatched within 5 days. For estimated delivery times, please see Delivery information.
You will be notified once your order has been shipped.

How do I know what size to buy?

You'll find a dedicated Size Guide for each garment HERE

Can I place an order without creating an account?

Yes. You can place an order as a guest with no obligation to create an account.

It is recommended that you create an account, however, if you’d like to check your order history and have your shopping basket items and payment details saved for next time. It’s quick and easy to create an account. 

Where is my order confirmation?

This is automatically sent to your email address when you place an order.
Sometimes with high security of mailboxes, the automatic emails may end up in your spam folder. Please check there first.

If you haven’t received your order confirmation within 24 hours, please get in touch at info@bonesandsorrel.com with the date of purchase and your name, just in case there’s a problem with your order.

Can I alter/cancel my order?

Once you have submitted your order, we try to start on production as quick as possible.
As a result, we might not be able to make any adjustments if we have already started processing your order.
If you'd like to amend or cancel your order, please email info@bonesandsorrel.com ASAP, and we will do our best to help.

What countries do you ship to?

How much is shipping?

Shipping cost depend on the items you’ve ordered and the country where it’s being delivered. Shipping cost will be calculated at the checkout.

UK Orders

All UK orders are shipped with Royal Mail Tracked Services.

EU Orders

All EU orders are shipped with Royal Mail European Tracked Services.

International Orders

All International orders are shipped with Royal Mail International Tracked Services.

Who pays customs fees?

Customs fees are taxes that are sometimes applied to shipments as they pass over a countries border.
Please note that Bones & Sorrel is not responsible for any customs fees that a parcel may incur when it reaches its destination country.
We do however, ship using the IOSS scheme so customs fees should not occur, but if they do then its always the buyers responsibility.
To check whether customs fees or import duties are payable please check the country's import regulations.

What if I haven't received my order yet?

If your order hasn't arrived within the expected timescale, please forward your order number and your name to info@bonesandsorrel.com and we will look into this for you.

Insufficient delivery address

Please ensure your delivery address is correct when placing an order.
We can not accept any liability for items that are shipped to incorrect address provided.

If you have provided us with incorrect delivery information, we will try our very best to amend this, providing the order has not already been dispatched.

If your order was returned to us due to insufficient address, you will be expected to pay a postage fee again and provide us with correct delivery address.

Undelivered orders

We do not accept any liability for undelivered iterms or items lost in transit.
For peace of mind all of our orders are shipped with Tracked Services.

All orders delivered with Royal Mail must be given 14 days (UK orders) before they can be classed as lost.
If your order has not arrived within 14 days, please get in touch at info@bonesandsorrel.com and we will submit claim with Royal Mail.

Royal Mail Claims

All orders delivered with Royal Mail must be given 14 days before they can be classed as lost.
If your order has not arrived within 14 days (UK orders), please get in touch at info@bonesandsorrel.com and we will submit a claim with Royal Mail.

After the claim was submitted, Royal Mail will investigate what has happened to the parcel.
Claims can take anywhere from a few working days to as long as 30 working days.
During this time we are unable to offer a refund or send a replacement, until the claim has been concluded.

Returns

Can I return item?

Please notify us about your return for a refund within 10 days of receiving your order for UK orders or 20 days from the date of dispatch for International orders.
To request a returns form, please contact us at info@bonesandsorrel.com stating your name, order number and explaining the reason for the return.

If you are dissatisfied with your order, we will make every effort to resolve the situation.
However, please note that we can not accept returns due to change of mind as each item is made to order.

All the items returned must be in the original condition as they were sent to you - not worn, not washed, not damaged.

Please make sure your return is securely packaged for postage and includes a returns form clearly stating your name and order number.

Please note that we do not offer free returns, and all the postage fees have to be covered by a customer.

Can I exchange item?

If you would like to exchange item for a different size or colour, you may return it but you will be required to pay for the postage on the new item being dispatched to you.
The quickest and easiest way to do this is to make a new order for the items you want, and return the other items for a refund.
This way you will pay for your postage and receive your new items much quicker.

Please take extra care and check our Size Guide when placing and order.

Returns address

Please make sure your return is securely packaged for postage and includes a returns form clearly stating your name and order number.

Please do not post your returns to the address on the shipping label of the parcel you've received.

Which items are non-returnable?

Unfortunately, we do can not accept returns and issue refunds for purchased Gift Cards.

Why weren't my shipping costs refunded?

As outlined within our returns policy, customers are liable for the cost of return shipping and any additional custom charges, unless faulty or sent in error.

Misc

Where are you based?

We are based in Machester, UK, with most of our products printed and shipped from Blackpool.

Do you have a physical store?

We do not. All of our products are listed here on the website. 

Do you sell gift cards?

We do indeed. These are issued electronically by email and each contains a unique reference number.

Why is your packaging so humble?

The current use of plastics isn’t sustainable and eco-friendliness, minimalism and simplicity are key aspects of our business.

Let's be real, nobody wants to deal with the guilt of throwing away yet another piece of plastic that will end up in the ocean.
So, we opted for a more down-to-earth approach, using only organic materials that will biodegrade faster than you can say "packaging waste is so last season".

And hey, if it saves us a few pennies on packaging costs, all the better!
