At Bones & Sorrel we are committed to operating under ethical, sustainable and environmentally friendly practices.
Every single garment is made to order. One of the benefits of using made to order services, is that our products are only made when they're sold. This ensures that we are not left with any overstock that we can't sell which could end up in landfill. It also means that no excess energy and raw materials are used to create this stock.
Every single garment we sell is vegan-friendly and is made with organic ring-spun cotton. We are not tied to any sweatshops and are proud to supply products from a premium clothing brand that's eco-friendly with strong social responsibility policy.
14 million tons of plastic end up in our oceans each year, so we do not use any plastic in our packaging. Our mailing bags are made from brown paper, we do not use plastic packaging sleeves, and instead of plastic bubble wrap we use paper bubble wrap when needed.
The inks use are water based, vegan friendly and OEKO-TEX certified, which means they contain no chemicals which negatively impact or harm the environment. Direct to garment printing (DTG) also produces less waste than other garment printing methods.
